Where to complain

An official complaint puts what happened to you on the record. Police and regulators act on patterns, and every report adds to the picture. Complaining yourself does not affect your place in Voices; it makes the collective case stronger.

Before you start

  • Official complaint services are free. Nobody genuine will charge you to file a report or promise to recover your funds.
  • Have your evidence ready: your BitMart UID, amounts, dates, screenshots of balances and failed withdrawals, support ticket numbers and any deposit transaction hashes.
  • Keep the reference number you are given, and add it to your case so it counts in the collective record.

Wherever you live

Police / fraud reporting

Your local police

Report it as fraud or theft. Ask for a crime or incident reference number and keep it.

If your country has a national fraud or cybercrime reporting service, use that. Official services never charge a fee.

Financial regulator

Your national financial regulator or consumer protection body

Tell them BitMart served customers in your country and that you cannot withdraw your funds.

Regulators build up a picture from many complaints, even when they cannot take up one case.

Financial regulator

Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA)

CIMA published a notice on 6 August 2026 saying BitMart entities are not registered or licensed by it.

You can tell CIMA about your experience, but send your main complaint to the authorities where you live.

Don’t see your country? Use “Wherever you live” above: your local police and your national financial regulator. Tell us which service you used and we will add it here.

What to write

A complaint letter you can use

Replace the parts in [brackets] with your own details. Register your case and we will fill it in for you.

Stick to facts you know first-hand. Never include passwords, seed phrases or private keys.

After you complain, tell us

Add the authority, the date and your reference number to your case. It takes a minute, and it shows lawyers and regulators how many people have already asked for help.

Register your case, free
Watch out for fake “recovery” and fake official websites. Scammers copy the look of police and regulator sites. Check the web address before you enter anything, never pay a fee to file a report, and never send cryptocurrency to “release” your funds.
